A Journey of Flavour and Culture

Growing up in South Africa, my love for food began at a young age. I vividly remember my Oupa taking me to the local butcher in Sonlandpark, where I would carefully select my favourite Biltong – always the fatty, wet kind. That moment stayed with me, igniting a passion for authentic, quality food.

When my family moved from Vereeniging to Durban, I found myself immersed in a rich cultural environment, surrounded by the warmth and polite people of the Zulu community. It’s here that my love for both food and culture truly blossomed. This same principle of care, respect, and authenticity is what I carry with me when making Biltong.

Now living in Scotland, I’m thrilled to share a piece of South Africa with this beautiful part of the world. Every piece of Biltong I make is crafted with the same love and passion that has defined my journey – bringing the flavours and culture of South Africa to Scotland, one delicious bite at a time.
